Who drank the other half?

There is a reason for the traditional clinking of glasses after a toast. The wine in the glass can be seen, smelled, tasted and felt. The only sense not involved here is hearing. With a pleasant clink of two half-full glasses, this sense joins the party. With personalization, those glasses can be forever etched with a variety of images and text by your imagination.

Aren’t etched glasses great for Holidays?

General Rules For Better Recognition

– The award should not be something recipients can easily buy for themselves unless it is very high-end.

– The award needs to be personalized in some way – something so it is not just generic, which makes it look like the company was too busy to care. The appropriate award for a company of outdoor workers should not be the same award for a company of accountants.

– The award has to be part of a program, aligned with company’s overall goal.

– Don’t give money as an award alone. Include something tangible and personalized.

– Use materials to excite the entire company culture: posters, handouts, desktop reminders. These support items are part of the process toward ultimately reaching goals and recognition.

Make his/her day

The best things in life are free; a kind remark, a hearty congratulations and a warm pat on the back can make all the difference in an employee’s day. Regardless of the style, employee recognition is an important part of how companies manage internal relationships.

Studies have shown again and again that employee productivity, interest and enthusiasm for work and company-related issues increase when they feel they are valued members of a team.

Recognition can take many forms and recognition programs don’t need to break the bank. Employees appreciate consistent verbal or written messages of appreciation for the work they do on a day-to-day basis from the directors they interact with, and that works hand-in-hand with gifts or awards from the company’s HR department or department heads.

Etched Wine Glasses

From Cabernet to Chardonnay, serve yourself and guests with signature style in personalized wine glasses.

Stemware and wine bottles: Monogrammed stemware is making a big comeback among corporate and individual clients. Couples getting married are “branding” their toasting glasses with intertwined initials or family crests— sometimes as part of a package of monogrammed napkins, matchbooks, and party favors.

Meanwhile, corporate clients large and small, as well as individual customers, are sandblasting logos and other types of branding on glassware and coasters.

The trend is seen just as much among home-based “man-cave” bars as microbreweries and home retail stores such as Williams-Sonoma.

Beyond Plaque – wood engraving

Untouched, wood represents stability, strength, and a rooted sense of security. At the same time both raw and sleek, no other material can boast simultaneous earthiness and sophistication in quite the same way as wood, whether it’s sourced from world or our own backyard.

Genuine wood products are very popular for both elegance and durability. Depending upon the type of wood and the engraving methods used, we find that these products don’t always need color-fill in order to create a beautiful finished look. Some current hot examples include genuine bamboo products like photo frames, cutting boards, salad spoons, wine boxes, travel mugs, coaster sets, rulers, staplers, mobile phone cases, flash drives, pens and pen cases.

What is Subsurface Laser Engraving, or 3D Engraving

The key difference between subsurface engraving and standard engraving method is that subsurface engraving creates three dimensional images, unlike surface engraving, which is for two dimensions. Using three dimensions greatly broadens the engraving capabilities and ultimately results i more dynamic engravings. With subsurface engraving, there are virtually no limits that can be engraved: 3D or 2D engraving, or combination,

Blanks must have a smooth, polished glass and crystal surface, such as small items like crystal USB drives and keychains, or large items like awards, corporate gifts.

Dog Ribbons

These ribbons display a rosette around a dog’s neck. In addition to every dog related competition you can think of, these could also be a nice item for animal shelters that host adoption events. Sliding a ribbon over a dog’s head is an easy way to dress the animal up, lighten up the atmosphere, and display a message. The ribbons could say “Adopt me!” along with the shelter’s name and logo, etc..

The art of making medallions, Part III

Spin casting, also known as centrifugal casting, molten material (often zinc, tin, pewter or an alloy blend) is poured into a spinning silicone or rubber mold which creates centrifugal force that distributes the metal into the crevices of the old. Once the material cools, the medallic item is cleaned and prepared for finishing by buffing or grinding.

Spin casting is a popular method for making medallics for customers on a tighter budget. Even the quality is not the same as die struck or die cast medallics costs are lower because it is inexpensive to create rubber molds and the setup charges are considerably less. It also takes less time to produce medallic products this way.
