Memories are an important part of all our lives. Our client, a major college, had donors throughout years to support the college. The college engraved donor’s name on a brass plate, than put on a bench. Now the college has removed these benches due to campus growth, but still wants to show appreciations and keesp the beautiful memories. We use the solid American walnut perpetual plaque 20 x 30″, with 120 individual plates to keep the story going.

Our customer is asking for MIL-I-6903 Black Qty 1 gallon. It is parachute ink, with drying time 10 seconds and produces a sharp, legible indelible impression and meets Government Specs. It used on surface nylon parachute cloth, parachute pack cloth and webbing. It is solvent alcohol with pigment.

A non-ferrous metal, brass is required when metal identification is used in various industries. Because it does not produce a spark, brass tags are often specified for industrial identification in both interior and exterior environments. Durable brass is often used for valve tags, and tool or equipment checks — helping our customer’s facility comply with federal regulations for proper equipment labeling.

These are the 1 1/2″ diameter 18 gauge brass tags with 3/16″ hole, engraved and color filled with customer’s ID.

Just as laser engraving technology is changing the way that awards are produced, it is also having an impact on rubber stamp production methods. When properly set up, a laser-engraving machine can be an efficient stamp production line. Suitable software is required for successful stamp manufacturing. Stamp printing characters should be “shouldered” or tapered from the base of the stamp to the face of the die, and photopolymer is odor free material.

A customer told us a very touching tale recently. Dad was absent, leaving his mother and uncle to raise him and four other kids growing up. With their support, he went on to start his own business and begin a family. He wanted to express his gratitude to his uncle, in particular, during their upcoming family reunion. We crafted him a plaque with a hand on its back and on its front, the words, “Your hands touched everyone’s life, more than you will ever know.” We are proud we could deliver him this plaque–and an opportunity to make his uncle feel appreciated.

Award request: honoring women in its profession who successfully “broke through the glass ceiling.”

An “Out of the box” approach created this award that represented pieces of glass: a four sided glass pyramid on an aluminum base that contained shards of glass, representing in a dramatic way the professional accomplishments of these wonderful women.
