Resin trophies are relatively new to the awards industry. When mass-produced 
resin awards hit the market about 10 to 15 years, the first designs were basic and somewhat limited in complexity. Today resins come in multitude of shapes, sizes and colors. Custom resin trophies, even small runs, can be economical because resin tooling is less expensive than for plastic figures or other awards components.
