Why do we play fantasy sports?
Fantasy sports allows fans to escape the business diversion of modern sports and bring back an aspect of fun and escape that defined sport in the early 20th century. We get to decide who plays, who you trade, who starts. It brings back an aspect of the game we were starting to lose – fan immersion into sport through tracking player statistics and their professional careers.
