At this time of the year, we’ll see a list of a flurry of recognition programs ripe for awards: corporate anniversary, dealer awards, donor appreciation, founder’s club, team achievement, chairman’s reward, wellness programs, etc.
In addition to longevity (one year, five years, 10 years, etc.) and safety awards, there is a trend towards recognition, probably due to the millennial generation in the workforce. Recognition awards are more Good Job Award, Saved the Most Paper, Best Idea, Friendliest Employee as voted by their peers types of awards. It means anyone can “win”.
